The last few days, leaked private videos of prominent personalities have become very common in Pakistan, and hardly a day passes when such videos are not leaked on social media platforms.
After Minahil Malik and then Imsha Rehman, the latest victim is Samra Chaudhary, a prominent model in Pakistan whose inappropriate videos have flooded social media.
Once again, a huge debate has been ignited, with netizens questioning the deplorable conditions of cyber safety.
Private Video Leak Targets Pakistani Model Samra Chaudhary
Samra Chaudhary is a well-known Pakistani model who has appeared in several Pakistani ads as a model. Recently, three private videos of the model have surfaced on social media.
Unconfirmed reports state that these videos have been on the internet since 2019 and have resurfaced recently.
The videos have spread like wildfire on some social media platforms. Unconfirmed reports also contend that the videos were shot in a Lahore hotel and are explicit.
The videos show Samra Chaudhary in different states of undress, and it is alleged that in one such clip, she is completely nude.
This is not the first instance that private videos of prominent personalities have been leaked on social media.
Earlier, private videos of Pakistani TikTokers Minahil Malik, followed by Imsha Rehman, had found their way onto social media platforms and led to a huge controversy.
As per a media house, Gulf News, there is a gang operating in Pakistan that hacks the cell phones of prominent Pakistani personalities and obtains private pictures and videos, which are then sold to international pornography websites.
It was also seen that many of the leaked private videos are fake, and one such example was TikTok star Hareem Shah. The video which became viral featured a look-alike girl who was passed off as the TikToker.
However, such videos cause a lot of distress, and when the air is cleared, irreparable damage is done to the image of the hapless personality.
Another personality whose private pictures were leaked was Rabi Pirzada. According to Rabi Pirzada, she had sold her old phone, and hackers got hold of it and managed to download her private pictures. Rabi Pirzada also stated that she had complained to the FIA, which is investigating the case.
