There was a wild story circulating on the internet that on December 3, 2024, Earth would witness an alien invasion, and the rumour was triggered by Trump’s Joe Rogan interview.
A computer scientist and linguist, Cliff High, declared in a video shared on YouTube that aliens would invade Earth 39 days after Joe Rogan interviewed the incumbent Presidential Republican Party appointee.
He also gave an eerie warning that the aliens and the military would be engaged in a duel.
The video was posted on YouTube on October 17.
High, in a post on X, stated:
“So we’re going to have these… some kind of weird confrontation, visible contention, which we could probably call and term combat in the skies that will show up, and it’ll show up at a predictable point, which is probably something over a month.”

High uses a tool he perfected in 1990 and named Predictive Linguistics to make predictions.
He had, in the past, accurately predicted several events, like the 2004 tsunami, though his latest predictions have been dismissed by many as too speculative and without substance.
UFO Sightings Over Washington Ignite Alien Invasion Rumors
The rumour was further given credence after a viral picture appeared, depicting four mysterious lights above the US Capitol on December 2.
By December 3, social media was flooded with the hashtag #alieninvasion.
The picture was first shared by US Air Force veteran and licensed tour guide Dennis Diggins, and many users believed there was some kind of extraterrestrial presence.
However, there were many who were sceptical about the viral news.
One X user commented:
“Me enjoying my day, but also keeping an eye out for the #alieninvasion.”
Another user tweeted:
“Considering how weird of a bizarro timeline we are currently living in right now, an #alieninvasion would only make sense at this point, and I actually welcome it…”
While High was sure there would be an alien invasion, traditional UFOlogist John Greenewald Jr. did not augur to the views of High and posted on X:
“Now, call me a pessimist, but I’m going to take a stab in the dark and say a UFO invasion ain’t goin’ to happen tomorrow.”
